Inculcating Constitutional Values

Various activities of the Institution for Inculcating values for being responsible citizens as reflected in the Constitution of India

Kerala is known for its high level of political awareness among its citizens. The local governments are well integrated into the society. The students and staff of the college  also reflect such a temperament. Our College conducts student elections on a regular basis. This year however the University suspended elections owing to the pandemic. Every class has a representative who takes leadership to co-ordinate requirements of the class and to organise various co & extra curricular events.

Political Science is offered as a complementary subject for all students of the Humanities stream viz., BA History, BA Economics & BA English. This paper covers all matters regarding the Indian Constitution and Public Administration. Assignments and student seminars, discussions etc in class help students to appreciate constitutional values and to integrate them in their life.
